Job Summary
The Acquisition Integrations Manager is responsible for executing key tasks necessary for the successful integration of acquired businesses into Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI). The Manager will implement appropriate systems and procedures (from a standard playbook) that can be adapted to a range of integrations based on size, complexity, business division, and business strategy to ensure a seamless integration. The role will be part of the Strategy & Development team and will report to the VP, Acquisition Integrations. The role work will collaborate to continue the refinement and implementation of core integration processes to position acquired businesses to deliver defined performance results including, but not limited to, safety, EBITDA, and operational synergies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Manager will play a prominent role in acquisition integration, facilitating the hand-over between Business Development (which is accountable for target selection, due diligence, justification, forward looking EBITDA requirements, and deal close) and the Business Units (accountable for delivering the full Board Proposal value of each acquisition). Duties of this role include:
Planning
Plays a key role in developing, customizing, and maintaining integration plan (playbook) that can be adapted to a range of integrations based on size and complexity, and clearly defines roles, responsibilities, tasks, and key milestones; maintain key learnings from prior acquisitions.Works closely with the VP, Acquisitions Integrations to understand and assess the potential target acquisition, analyze the structure of potential acquisitions, and develop an appropriate integration plan.Works closely with Business Units in early stages to develop pre-close and post-close integration plans for acquired company.Executing
Defines structure and process for integration based on size, type, and complexity of business; assembles requisite integration team with subject matter expertise to manage various integration activities and continuity plans.Leads and prioritizes the implementation of integration activities or major compliance, systems, and administrative initiatives, e.g. shared services activities including EHS&S, IT-ERP, IT-non ERP, HR, Payroll, benefits, tax, CRH insurance, procurement, marketing.Drives day-to-day execution of the integration process, including coaching cross-functional teams, facilitating regular integration team meetings, driving proactive issue resolution, and ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables.Coordinates inter-disciplinary resources needed to implement defined project scope and scheduled are achieved.Closely monitors impact on business resulting from integration activities and makes necessary adjustments when integration activities pose threat to key business elements, e.g. sales volume, key staff retention.Facilitates application of key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergiesPartnering
Works closely with Business Unit and Shared Services leadership to align on integration plan for acquisition; ensure requisite resources are committed by leadership.Works with Business Unit and Shared Services to develop and execute an appropriate communication plan and change management strategy.Drives towards a clear and effective hand-over from the Integration team to the Business Unit, based on achievement of pre-defined milestones.Re-engages with key stakeholders from prior acquisitions to ensure integration was fully executed.Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Business/related discipline, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in relevant manufacturing or business operations2+ years of experience integrating systems and processes required for business acquisitions and/or mergersCompetency with of project management discipline, tools, and analysisExperience in leading/participating in large scale projects in various hands-on rolesSolid understanding of core business processes, accounting, and ERP systemsWhat CRH Offers You
