Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Applications Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA.
In this exciting role, you will:
Manages liquid and gas delivery product application development.Provides written and verbal communication including technical marketing, product development, implementation and problem-solving support of complex products to meet customer applications.Translates requirements of technical documents into the equipment and software configurations required for internal and external support.Creates application documentation, refines procedures, and identifies ways to improve and capture best known methods and processes in preparation and completion of customer product qualification.Serve as technical liaison between customer's technology groups and HORIBA groups in Japan to expand the business in current and new areas.Tests newly developed product functional features as part of the overall product quality review.Assists Technical Specialist in training activities.Other duties as assigned.You will bring the following skills and knowledge:
Master of Science in Physics, Material Science, or Chemistry. PhD highly preferred.Thin film processing and analysis experience.Bilingual English/Japanese preferred.
