YOUR MISSION

Lead all aspects of sales, marketing, account strategy as well as day to day operations at Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy. Manage all phases of the business including long-term strategy, seasonal marketing plans, product presentations, product clinics, and all operational tasks. Directly manage the internal service support role. Deliver all required reports, weekly sell-thru analysis, Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly analysis of sales versus forecasts on time. Manage all account sales and marketing budgets and provide monthly spend updates. Work closely with the internal sales & marketing organizations to develop plans that are reflective of COBRA PUMA GOLF core brand attributes, and that drive traffic and consumer demand. Develop growth targets and achieve sales goals by quarter and by category as defined by VP US Sales. Deliver all forecasts to appropriate parties on time. Deliver all orders by booking deadline. Manage accounts through business planning, inventory control and analysis. Define key account strategic needs, in brief form, for submission to the merchandising team for creation of key account seasonal programs. Continuously monitor competitors' activities, products and performance, along with implementing strategies and tactics to compete and win. Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise from sell-in to sell-through. Vibrant contributor to the team approach to account management; constantly looking for new ways to contribute and improve the supporting team. Work as a liaison between COBRA PUMA GOLF operations and account operations. Work cross functionally to contribute and collaborate on the Account Marketing Plan. YOUR TALENT

Bachelor's degree in related field. 10+ years Sales experience. 7+ years in people management 5+ years in Key Account Sales experience. Experience in working for well-respected equipment and soft goods brands. Ability to travel is required, up to 25%. Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong understanding of sport performance, equipment and lifestyle brands and their distribution channels. Ability to develop and implement sales and marketing plans based upon the understanding of customer and consumer needs. Innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to business issues & solutions. Ability to grasp, learn and communicate complex concepts quickly and independently. Ability to effectively manage time and work against business deadlines. Strong understanding of retail sales practices. Strong analytical, overall business orientation. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and makes recommendations on potential solutions. High level of technical product knowledge. Ability to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools.
