Are you ready to make your mark? If you are a Value Stream Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing or VP Operations this position is responsible for end-to-end management of a full value stream within a CoE. This position accomplishes objectives through leading and influencing a multi-disciplined team to achieve operational excellence in support of CoE visions, including on-time delivery, delivered quality, productivity improvement/cost reductions, purchased goods quality, and meeting customer specifications as required by commercial agreements.What You Will Be Doing

Oversee the order fulfillment process through a group of leaders. Influence cross-functional leaders within a value stream structure, which may include any of all of the following functions: assembly and test, planning, product support engineering, assembly and test process engineering, tactical purchasing (supplier management, supplier quality engineer and supplier quality techs) product quality assurance/Black Belts, continuous improvement and stock room.Accountable for value stream metrics and performance (safety, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost).Interpret and implement strategy activities to improve the performance of the value stream to meet top-level goals.Interpret and implement strategy activities to improve the performance of the value stream to meet top-level goals.Implement continuous improvement to achieve departmental and company goals.Plans accordingly to meet short term forecast and long-range plan (LRP) requirements for staffing, capital equipment and capabilities.What We Are Looking For

US - master's degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS) MBA preferred.US - bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) required.2-5 years' Experience of related work in operational leadership in manufacturing environments required.Six Sigma certification preferred.Strong operations focus; proven ability to lead and manage with the following attributes: Six Sigma methodology, successful track record in a lean manufacturing environment, stringent quality standards, progressive/contemporary operational concepts and practices.Solid leadership skills.Effective interpersonal skills with all levels throughout the organization.Able and willing to change the status quo and effectively champion change for both internal and external assigned value streams.Ability to facilitate and coordinate problem-solving activities internal and external to value stream.Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, processes, and tools. Knowledge of associated operational processes and controls which he/she is responsible (e.g., Electrical Mfg., Special Processes, A&T, etc.).This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
