Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Quality Technician is to implement the requirements of the applicable Quality Standards and develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Technician is a change agent and fosters continual improvement for the overall improvement of the QMS. This position also involves training, conducting presentations, interacting with teammates and management on quality issues, auditing internally, other Nucor divisions and suppliers as well as handling customer issues. Other duties and continued training as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Quality System(s) (e.g., ISO 9001 or other comparable standards) Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience Experience in a manufacturing/production process or quality related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a steel or manufacturing related industry. Experience in maintaining a Quality Management System. CQA -Certified Quality Auditor, ISO Auditor Certification
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
