This is a Hybrid role based out of our Hub located in Longmont, Colorado.
The Target Pay Range for this position is $125,000 - $155,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
This position is responsible for accounting for inventory and manufacturing in SDx NA (LightDeck, Biotech, Antech US) and management of relative teams. The Director of Accounting – Inventory and Manufacturing is detail-oriented, has strong knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting, and internal control operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee period close activities related to inventory and cost accounting
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Mars/Antech Finance Policy
Financial reporting and variance analysis for manufacturing operations
Internal control operations, documentation, and testing
Assist with annual budget and ongoing forecasts and analysis to actual performance as it relates to manufacturing operations for SDx
Standard cost development and maintenance including production variance review
Partner with business to drive efficient and cost-effective operations
Ability to be hands on in establishing processes and driving process improvements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
7+ years accounting and finance related experience, including working experience in cost accounting for a manufacturing environment
5+ years of leadership and business partnership experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lead a team to accurately record and report accounting results
Ability to understand generally accepted accounting principles and relevant laws, regulations and rules
Consistently displays good judgement
Impeccable and demonstrated reputation for honesty and consistently ethical behavior
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Advanced ability with Microsoft Office and costing; preferred ability to use NetSuite and/or Oracle
Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational and planning abilities
Travel
Occasional up to 20%, domestic travel
Working Conditions
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Environment where pets are present.
