The AWS Brand team is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Program Manager (PM) to drive the development and delivery of brand strategy projects across high impact workstreams.
In July 2024, the Brand team launched an updated brand system with a goal of creating an ownable, recognizable, and unified experience for our customers. The Brand Strategy Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the Brand Strategy team drive key programs including foundational brand architecture and nomenclature, brand and logo guidance and governance, and business and product portfolio strategy.
The ideal candidate is passionate, approaches work with a sense of grit, and is motivated to bring clarity to ambiguous challenges. You have demonstrated experience managing brand strategy projects from scoping to delivery. You will be adept at thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, able to assess and manage risks, understand and communicate trade-offs, and manage multiple end-to end strategy workflows. You will earn the trust of your peers, demonstrate bias for action, problem solving skills, and maintain clear and concise communication across multiple stakeholders and projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a priority initiative for the AWS brand team and larger marketing organization, unlocking efficient, effective, and high bar brand strategy at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to establish clear and actionable project plans, including approach, timelines and deliverables.
Manage meetings, stakeholder outreach, and related follow up with brand leadership and working teams
Gather and organize business inputs and feedback, create trackers and information libraries, and document clear guidance
Manage external agencies engagements from RFP and contract management to review cadences and on-time delivery of scope items.
Stay one step ahead of project deadlines and provide weekly updates on project status
Track wins and opportunities and feed into established org-wide reporting mechanisms such as quarterly/monthly business reviews (QBR/MBR).
Offer solutions when faced with roadblocks, unexpected delays, or critical changes to project approach
Contribute to organization-wide initiatives meant to improve how we work as a team and deliver for stakeholders
Establish and implement processes and mechanisms that allow business partners to action on brand strategy.
Establish strong business acumen and deep understanding of the complex AWS business and stakeholders landscape

Basic Qualifications
5+ years as a project manager, or similar role, supporting brand strategy or in an agency, in-house brand team, or similar experience
5+ years experience working within large and complex organizations
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years' additional relevant agency or in-house brand teams
Knowledge and proficiency with project management tools (Asana)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in technology or sales-led B2B organizations
Experience with complex portfolio mapping and product marketing
Experience working with brand and design systems
Experience creating brand strategy documentation
Experience in building and maintaining governance mechanisms
Ability to build meaningful relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
Ability to interpret and communicate brand strategy and guidance to stakeholders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
