Industry analysts are crucial influencers and we’re seeking a senior analyst relations (AR) expert to join the AR team for this important, visible function. The ideal candidate has a proven track-record of demonstrating successful AR program development, management, and execution – ideally in the advertising space. You are able to quickly grasp technical topics, craft strategic analyst engagement plans, collaborate and influence cross-functionally, and oversee daily operations. You will go deep on our solutions and offer a perspective on the stories we should tell, when and how we should tell them, and to whom. You should be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, and identifying market challenges and opportunities for our customers.
You’ll be part of a global product marketing team, reporting to the Head of Analyst Relations and partnering with marketing, product, PR, and teams across the business
Key job responsibilities
Drive and execute an AR program in partnership with the Head of AR to influence, educate, and secure advocacy for key product areas
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with industry analysts
Proactively and reactively engage industry analysts to secure positive coverage and commentary for Amazons Advertising, including in influential evaluations, Forrester Wave reports, and other key research.
Partner closely with marketing, product, brand, and leadership to align on key messaging, positioning, and strategic priorities for analyst engagements
Proactively identify opportunities to leverage analyst relationships and insights to inform product roadmaps, positioning, marketing campaigns, go-to-market activities and other strategic initiatives
Oversee and execute ongoing AR program activities such as analyst briefings, inquiries, reporting, and other core tactics
Prioritize and manage incoming requests for information, research reviews, customer references, event speakers, and research
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years analyst relations or public relations experience ideally in the advertising space across adtech, video, retail media, or measurement
Excellent writing skills and proven ability to craft impactful copy
Prior experience working cross functionally and building trust to influence stakeholders across levels, roles, and regions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
