Reporting to the Creative Director, Experience Design, the Associate Creative Director will lead the ideation and development of in-store signage, digital screen content, and print collateral, all aimed at driving customer engagement and actions.
This leader will leverage their deep experience and expertise in branding, shopper marketing, wayfinding, design systems and digital technologies to create compelling in-store experiences. Must demonstrate a passion for elevating the retail experience through in-store signage and communications.
This is a leadership position that requires interaction with senior leaders throughout the organization. The ability to impact and influence key stakeholders is critical. The Associate Creative Director, Experience Design will guide and partner with internal teams and external agency partners in the ideation and implementation of creative, ensuring that the brand is being represented properly and consistently in all touchpoints and that business goals and outcomes are delivered.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create, convey, and sell vision: direct and inspire a team while working collaboratively across a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.
Bring innovative ideas and vision to life across a wide scope of unique retail projects, such as signage & navigation, editorial displays, print collateral and digital screens.
Oversee in-store creative execution across multiple projects simultaneously.
Drive continuous process improvement to identify efficiencies and make recommendations within the practice.
Inspire and mentor the team to develop impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to brand standards, ensuring cohesion and consistency.
Cultivate an engaging atmosphere that leads to the development and execution of best-in-class creative.
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to internal business teams and external agencies.
Required Qualifications:
· 8-10 years of leading creative at Senior Design, Art Director or Associate Creative Director (ACD) level with experience in an agency and/or corporate environment.
· Ability to work a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of working for a large, complex organization
Experience in the retail industry
Portfolio
Strong in-depth knowledge in environmental graphic design principles, digital and retail print design including typography, color, photography, scale, and materials.
Experience in concepting campaigns and developing brand voice for retail editorial signage.
Experience managing teams and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor; consistently developing talent and team building.
Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to impact and influence individuals at senior levels – both internally and externally.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, which may include extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Technical skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and working on a Mac.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or a related field or related experience ( 4 years)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $199,144.80
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
