Our company is seeking talented professionals to fill the temporary position of
Data Consultant
.
The position will require an individual who is highly experienced and is able to provide guidance and support data migration from legacy system to Salesforce Greenfield org effectively and efficiently for 4~5 months. This role will focus primarily on data migration, and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in this area using Talend and Salesforce as primary tools and systems. The position may require travel, and the ideal candidate will be located in the United States. However, fully remote work is also possible.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage client data migration effectively and efficiently from legacy system to SF Govt Cloud org. Experience with ETL solutions – Talend
Collaborate with client team and solution architect to develop and maintain data migration scripts and solutions
Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Government Cloud data model
Experience in data extraction (Salesforce), transformation and data loading
Experience using SF data tools (i.e. Data Loader)
Data sandbox planning
Export of object data from multiple Salesforce orgs
Data mapping between systems, Data deduplication experience and Data governance
Capture data migration requirements, planning and deployment
Running data import tests
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data migration technology
Provide training and support to clients on data migration processes and procedures
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in order to ensure that their needs are met and their data is integrated effectively
Ensure clients data is handled carefully for any sensitive information per contract
Requirements
Extensive Talend experience in data migration for Salesforce projects
Salesforce data model and administration skills
Databases practical knowledge (complex queries, data export and manipulation, indexing, etc.)
Flat files (csv, txt, excel) loading to Salesforce
ETL/ELT tools: Talend is required
Data preparation for loading (data cleansing, deduplication)
Data transformation (familiar with formulas, functions and basic java scripts)
Big data volume loads (millions of records) and how to solve potential issues during upload
Query performance fine tuning and optimization techniques
Bulk API experience
Data archival process and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work collaboratively with various teams
Fluency in English
