Role Overview:
As Associate Director of Global Supply Chain Management (GSM), you will assume a leadership position responsible for developing and executing the sourcing and supplier strategy and overseeing the commercial execution and supply chain management for development projects and on market production. This includes overseeing both sourcing and materials supply chain management for all commodities. You will play a key role in strategic deals and contract negotiations with suppliers. You will lead CM materials execution in support of volume production for both CM-managed and consigned materials including shortage management, lead-time, MOQ, inventory, and buffer strategies. Also, you will be collaborating with Ceribell HQ cross-functional team to continue optimizing processes and ERP system readiness for supply chain transactions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure suppliers can meet our technical and business requirementsLead vendor and contract manufacturers discussions and negotiate strategic deal termsManage the development and implementation of procurement strategies and initiativesEstablish and refine the supply chain framework to support new product introduction and adapt to evolving market conditionsManage and develop suppliers to influence product manufacturability, testability, supply chain responsiveness and readiness to maintain lowest cost, predictable availability and flexibility while stewarding highest quality productsCollaborate cross-functionally to influence decisions and align technical specifications across sourcing processesConduct cost structures, cost engineering exercise and should-cost analysis to optimize sourcing decisionsLead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish by working closely with cross functional teams and vendor teamsEnsure suppliers are scaling with Ceribell and they can meet both short- and long-term growth demandsManage and mitigate supply risk across global supply chainProvide data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership, based on strategic insights, analysis, experience and technical acumenOptimize the application of the ERP system for company requirementsEssential qualifications:
7 years of hands-on experience in supply chain development, contract manufacturing, vendor management, or broad operations with knowledge of mechanical engineering, product development and manufacturing processes, including 3 years of medical device experience.Demonstrated experience/accomplishments regarding successful contract negotiation/partnership with OEM/CMs with particular focus regarding year-over-year improvement of Cost, Quality, Delivery and Service metrics.Proven expertise in cost structures and should-cost analysisExcellent organizational and leadership skills and written and verbal communication.Exceptional knowledge regarding the technical sourcing of high tolerance/high-tech components fabricated such as PCBA fabrication, plastics/metal injection molding and etc.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environmentsAbility to influence across multiple functional teamsHigh level of personal and professional integrityAbility to communicate with both English and MandarinWillingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% based on business needsA candidate's final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell's corporate compensation plan.
