Senior Technical Designer
that's obsessed with fit and is able to develop initial designs - including technical sketches - and execute complete technical packages for our factories. Our Senior Technical Designer will have strong knowledge of garment construction and excellent pattern making skills. This position will work cross-functionally with overseas factory teams to ensure a smooth transition from original idea to fit development to final production.
What You'll Do
Be the go-to person for all fit, construction and workmanship detailsCreate initial technical packages with measurement, sketches and construction while collaborating with Merchandising and Product Development to determine desired fit and aesthetic for all productsManage all aspects of fittings, construction and technical issuesProvide design guidance and troubleshooting solutions during fittingsCompetitively shop the market while researching size, fit and construction techniquesManage the fit process from prototype to T.O.P. ensuring consistency across styles and factoriesManages and track fit samples and fit model schedulesMeet all T&A calendar requirements and work "outside the box" to resolve any fit or construction issues that could affect the approved timelines.Schedule and supervise any freelance technical assistance needed to meet deadlinesExecute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure fit process stays in line with production timelinesEnhance the MeUndies fit and quality through review of customer feedback & returns as well as doing competitive analysisWhat You Have
B.A or equivalent7-10 years of experience in technical design, preferably underwearPattern making skills and knowledge of intimates garment constructionStrong verbal and written communication skillsA team-oriented mindsetMulti-tasking abilities and a calm demeanorThe ability to shift priorities when neededExperience with Centric or comparable PLMAdvanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator to sketch CADs

The base salary range for this full-time position is $98,000 -$128,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the base salary range provided in this posting does not include any bonus, equity, or benefits you may be eligible for.
