About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead a team of Software Engineers, providing expertise. You will guide project plans, schedules, and methodologies, while also coding complex systems.
ResponsibilitiesServing as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibilityInterfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirementsWriting and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexityCompleting complex bug fixesWorking closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designsImplementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviewsOperating in various development environments (Agile, Kanban, etc) while collaborating with key stakeholdersMentoring and/or training entry-level software engineers as directed by department managementRequirements
Have extensive experience in Software Engineering, consistently delivering successful outcomes over an extended period.Have a BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experienceBe able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of software development methodologiesBe able to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needsBe proficient in test-driven developmentBe skilled in designing and working with complex data modelsBe experienced in using and developing applicable tool setsBe capable of managing and encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovationsWork in a way that works for you
