The
Data Strategy & Analytics Associate Director
plays a critical role in ensuring client and company success by understanding our clients tech, analytics and data strategy, defining a learning agenda that directly ties to clients core business questions and collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to deliver against it. You and your team will work to find insights that will improve and/or explain campaign and business performance, leverage innovative measurement technologies to make data-driven decisions, and recommend and implement new solutions where there are gaps in client tech. You'll have opportunities to build knowledge and expertise in specific solutions across reporting and visualization, MarTech tools, and measurement and will act as a leader and mentor for the analysts and/or managers on your team as well as the department more broadly.
The position requires strong quantitative and communication skills, a passion for advancing retail client marketing and measurement strategy, particularly within the Amazon ecosystem, a sense of personal accountability, and a desire to be part of a tightly-knit team that's out to change the industry.
While each client engagement is unique, you will:
Act as the senior point of contact across an assigned client portfolio, with ultimate accountability for measurement strategy & technology and clear, accurate delivery of insights and reportingCollaborate with media and measurement partners to ensure effective adoption of the marketing technologies our teams leverage (ie: brand lift studies, data clean rooms, especially AMC, MMM partners)Work with your teams to effectively translate data into information, quickly identifying and clearly communicating the 'so what' to senior client leadersDirectly lead a team of 3-5 analysts and managers and, as a leader, provide strategic guidance and thought leadership across Kepler's functional teamsIn partnership with senior leadership, guide our departmental best practices, team staffing, training and developmentAct as an early adopter for Kepler's proprietary marketing tools & technologies, providing critical feedback to progress our toolkit and encouraging adoption across the organizationInspire, coach and mentor staff across multiple disciplinesDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5-8+ years experience paid media/marketing analytics, statistics, digital media strategy, data science or ad techStrong SQL knowledge with AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) and/or any data clean room experienced preferred to support junior team members in developing analysisStrong background in analytics, statistics or strategic insights generationDirect experience designing and measuring lift or incrementality experiments and familiarity with other digital marketing measurement solutions (e.g. MMM, attribution)Strong client presence; experience building relationships and driving change at senior levels within enterprise organizationsExperience leading teams with proven ability to develop junior and mid-level staffAbility to apply innovative thinking to solve complex marketing challenges, developing and prioritizing analytical roadmap to inform team decisions and client outcomesAppetite for learning new technologies and interest in automating workflows through the use of AIProcess and detail oriented; takes a "roll up your sleeves" approach to leadership and best practice developmentExcellent listening, written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesBA/BS degree requiredTransparency is fundamental to Kepler's culture. TOTAL COMPENSATION:
Base Salary: $105,000 - $131,400Target Annualized Discretionary Bonus: 10% ($10,500 - $13,100)Target Total Cash: $115,600 - $144,500BENEFITS :
