Description and Requirements
We are hiring a recent college graduate to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Technician. This role is based in Whitsett, NC and onsite presence is required.
This role involves analyzing current practices, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and overall performance. The technician collaborates with teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Process Analysis and Improvement:Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to drive process improvements.Data Collection and Analysis:Collect and analyze data related to process performance, quality metrics, and operational efficiency.Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Project Management:Lead or support continuous improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Develop project plans, set objectives, and coordinate resources to achieve project goals.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges.Facilitate workshops and meetings to promote continuous improvement initiatives and gather feedback.Documentation and Reporting:Document changes to processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.Maintain records of improvement initiatives, outcomes, and lessons learned.Work Environment:
The role may involve working in a variety of settings, including office environments, manufacturing floors, or other operational areas.Some travel may be required to visit different sites or locations.Position is required to be onsite.Site location is 6540 Franz Warner Parkway, Whitsett, NCPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Occasional lifting or movement of materials may be required.
