Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Acquisition Account Executive to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to identify and acquire new customers interested in Avaya solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology. They will also be disciplined and consistent in their outreach efforts with a proven track record of success in reaching key personas when cold calling.
Essential Functions
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
Customer Engagement: Build and foster relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored Avaya solutions.
Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to C-level executives to showcase the benefits and features of Avaya solutions.
Pipeline Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify potential areas for growth.
Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
Five years minimum experience in acquisition sales, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
Demonstrated track record of success in meeting sales targets and other KPIs.
Strong understanding of Avaya solutions and their applications, specifically Avaya Experience Platform and Avaya cloud voice solutions.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience selling to healthcare, education, or state government entities.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and SalesLoft preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
