Senior Solution Architect . This role is crucial in providing advanced technical guidance and architectural solutions to support digital transformation efforts within a major federal agency and work directly with the agency's IT executives. The Senior Solution Architect will mentor our software engineering teams and actively contribute to business development activities, including responses to RFIs and RFPs.
Location:
DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area
Travel:
Several site visits to customer locations (Maryland and Northern VA) per month

Solution Architecture:
Design and implement robust architectural solutions that align with the strategic needs of federal agency IT executives, especially using Low-code/No-code platforms.
Stay at the forefront of technology trends, integrating emerging technologies to optimize business processes, particularly with Business Process Management (BPM) technologies.
Technical Thought Leadership:
Serve as a technical leader within the organization, providing guidance and insights that shape strategic direction and technology implementations.
Lead educational initiatives and workshops to elevate the technical expertise of the team.
Mentoring:
Create a learning environment that fosters technical excellence and continuous improvement within engineering teams.
Encourage innovation and knowledge sharing to ensure team members are proficient in current and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Minimum of 8 years in IT, with extensive experience designing and implementing software solutions.
At least 5 years of experience developing software using standard programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
At least 3 years of experience working with public cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Experience delivering solutions using Low Code/No Code Platforms such as Appian, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Power Platform.
In-depth knowledge of data processing including data modeling, data transformation, ETL, and visualization techniques.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing both technical and business stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
Professional services experience, particularly with federal government agencies.
Knowledge and experience with Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
Proficient in developing and deploying scalable, cloud-native applications using containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and microservices-based architectures.
Experience designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and user experiences.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, technology portfolio management and IT service management (ITSM).
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams in a dynamic environment.
