ExemptPurpose and Scope:
The Sales Territory Manager for Sage Oil Vac is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within their designated territory. They will work closely with a diverse range of customers, including businesses in the automotive, industrial, and oil and gas sectors. The primary focus is on selling Sage Oil Vac's fluid exchange equipment and services to meet customers' needs for efficient, environmentally friendly fluid handling solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Development
Identify potential customers, establish contacts, and promote Sage Oil Vac products and services within the assigned territory. This includes generating new leads, attending trade shows and industry events, and building a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive top-quality service.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Product Knowledge
Develop a deep understanding of Sage Oil Vac's product offerings, including fluid exchange equipment, and be able to effectively communicate the benefits and advantages of these products to potential customer.
Consultative Selling
Work with customers to understand their specific fluid handling requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Provide expertise and guidance to help clients make informed decisions.
Quoting and Proposal Development
Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential customers, including pricing, terms, and product details. Negotiate as needed to close sales.
Sales Target Achievement
Meet or exceed targets and goals set for the territory.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
Market Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions within the designated Provide regular feedback to the company market dynamics.
Training and Support
Provide training and support to customers on the proper use and maintenance of Sage Oil Vac equipment.
Administrative Tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory performance.
Prepare reports and sales forecasts as required.
Specific Tasks for Position
Weekly update meetings with the Sales Manager.
Review monthly sales goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not always
Experience:
Proven sales experience, especially in industrial equipment or B2b
5+ years' experience in the Equipment Selling market
Strong communication and interpersonal
Abilities to work independently and manage time
Knowledge of fluid handling equipment and systems is a
Willingness to travel within the designated territory and occasionally outside the territory for meetings and events.
