Join our team as a Pricing Process & Systems Manager in Job Site Solutions (JSS)! Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role in managing our critical customer and Cat Dealer invoicing and purchasing processes? As Pricing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the financial operations of JSS. Your high-quality work, sense of urgency, and process improvement mindset will ensure we accurately and consistently transact with both our customers and our internal and external partners.
What You Will Do:
Direct the monthly customer invoicing and Cat Dealer purchasing functions for the JSS business.
Manage the business relationship and financial transactions between Cat Financial and JSS.
Engage with internal business partners to ensure correct cash application and late fee processes are properly executed.
Manage new feature development and system support with an external IT vendor for the JSS invoicing platform (Salesforce Contract Manager).
Collaborate with internal compliance teams to ensure processes are accurate, documented, and aligned with internal policies.
Collaborate closely with JSS commercial and operations teams to ensure an effective feedback loop for business needs and execution of process improvement initiatives
Lead a growing team and build an organizational culture that encourages employee engagement, accuracy, collaboration, a sense of urgency towards business success, and continuous improvement
Provide cross-functional support as needed to enable execution of critical business processes, including contract development and invoicing.
What skills you will have:
Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in commercial or transactional roles supporting products or services; previous experience with Caterpillar customers, Dealers, and/or Cat Financial
Strategic Thinking and Process Improvement: Knowledge of how to manage projects and implement process improvements with discreet timelines and deliverables aligned with business requirements.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Top Candidates will also have:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Direct or indirect leadership experience.
Knowledge of pricing and/or accounting practices at Caterpillar.
Working level experience with the MACH1/SAP platform.
Working level experience with the NEXTGEN/Coupa platform.
Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL.
Relocation assistance is available.
This position requires execution of invoicing processes aligned to the accounting calendar and this will impact available time away from work including holiday shutdowns for the chosen candidate.
This position may require 5% travel.
