DuPont Water Solutions is seeking a Regional Demand Planner to support forecast and sales outlook processes for both North and South America.

Key Responsibilities:

Generation of 24mo Forecast using multi-view approach.

Forecasting Strategy – Identify and collaborate on changes to demand strategy relative to market and business changes, including demand pattern changes, seasonal influences and shifts in business focus.

Forecasting policies - Shape and refine forecasting policies to support business needs and system capabilities.

Co-ownership of Salesforce.com (CRM) opportunity pipeline integrity and trends, along with Regional Commercial Director (RCD).

Lead monthly customer forecast collection in a way that does not overload the Sales team.

Consolidate and interpret information from multiple demand inputs, including Salesforce opportunities, statistical models, marketing strategic plans, and commercial/customer forecasts.

Challenge, align, and document key demand assumptions to build the consensus forecast.

Use leading and lagging indicators to pressure test forecast assumptions. Understand market environment and dynamics that impact the demand plan.

Identify and document risks and upsides to the consensus forecast.

Support the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

Follow the workday calendar for loading forecast into APO (ERP) and preparing for Global Demand Review.

Ensure Americas Business Leadership are informed of key demand trends and implications.

Act as a trusted key leadership partner on behalf of Americas region to other functional leaders (Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain etc.)

Identify gaps in the plan that require escalation. Perform what-if scenarios (simulations) to resolve demand/supply imbalances and equip business leadership to make educated decisions. Propose solutions to achieve business targets.

Monitor and respond to deviations in forecast KPIs and produce improvement resolutions.

Active participation in short- and long-term sales outlook processes.

Support the annual process to create and propose a regional Profit Objective/Business Plan for the upcoming year.

Collaborate with Regional Commercial Director (RCD) and Regional Enablement Leader (REL) to support a weekly pulse outlook for current quarter revenue.

Assist the commercial team to generate a monthly CY Sales Outlook, overlaying supply constraints and risks on unconstrained forecast.

Lead continuous improvement activities focused on growth and demand generation.

Demand segmentation - Continually assess and improve the demand segmentation framework to determine companywide approach to forecasting of different demand types (e.g., high volume, low volume, high volatility, seasonal, specific customers, segments)

Forecast model usage & back testing - Help identify, assess and implement best in class forecast models & techniques for different demand types; conduct back testing regularly to refine approaches

Support effort to shift organization to Demand Generation culture, supporting improved business performance.

Utilize key working relationships across multiple functions in the business to facilitate and support improvement opportunities; including in reporting, analytics, inventory strategies, profit reviews etc.

Qualifications:

BS degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

Preferred experience with APO, Excel, Power BI, Salesforce.com, and statistical models (like ForecastPro).

Analytical Skills – creating insights/decisions from large datasets using Excel or PBI.

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Influence leader – able to inspire others to accept change and take action

Cultivates innovation through creative ideas and taking calculated risks

Execution focus – self-accountable for driving fast results, entrepreneurial spirit

Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, geographies, and levels in the organization and build positive working relationships with coworkers and internal customers.
