Position Overview:
Assists Compliance & CRA Officer with conducting and supporting compliance, BSA, and other risk management activities at the direction of management. Consistently delivers an experience that leaves customers with a positive emotional impression of the bank, its employees and products & services. Responds to sales opportunities using the delivered sales presentation model.
Primary Duties:Assists with BSA Exemption ProceduresAssist running and reviewing FinCEN, OFAC reportsAssist with CTR accuracy reviewsAssist with MSB (Money Service Businesses) review and monitoringAssist with Private Owned ATM reviews and monitoringAssist with additional High Risk Customer reviews as needed.Assist in compiling information for Board Monitor reports.Assist in reviewing Policy and procedures for necessary compliance changes.Assist in identifying, monitoring high-risk and moderate-risk customers.Assist in developing and delivering compliance training tools, classes, emails.Assist in researching new and revised products.Assist in identifying suspicious activity, performing AML investigations and filing Suspicious Activity ReportsDevelop an understanding of the systems used for the identification of suspicious activity.Assist with the gathering of information for external audits and regulatory examinations. Accurately compile information.Provide assistance and perform clerical and other related duties as assigned, in support of the administrative work of the Compliance DepartmentParticipate in necessary education and training to attain essential knowledge and information.Requirements:
Career minded individuals that want to gain experience and build a career.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance or a related field with demonstrated knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and processes.Citizens State Bank provides career paths and development plans to get you where you want to go.High school diploma or equivalent.Good interpersonal communication and computer skills.Previous banking center experience preferredComfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services are a plus.Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
