Summary:
The Marketing Manager, Enrollment, is responsible for creating and updating undergraduate Enrollment Management marketing and communication materials and other special projects that support the department's overall recruitment and enrollment strategy. The responsibilities include but are not limited to intensive email and text message communication plans, website and social media strategy, and graphic design projects.
The Marketing Manager will skillfully navigate digital marketing platforms with a deep knowledge of user behavior and will actively work to produce content that improves engagement metrics with prospective students, their families and other influencers. Writes, edits, prepares and delivers information from or about the department through various marketing, print materials and digital platforms, including the Admissions website and social media channels, and other material as needed. Works closely with Temple's Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications as well as other teams with Enrollment Management including Student Financial Services, the Office of the University Registrar and the Student Success unit, and with the Division of Student Affairs.
As a member of the Undergraduate Enrollment Management team, the Manager will also be responsible for representing Temple and supporting on-campus events as well as understanding the practices and policies of the entire Division, which includes supporting weekend and evening programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience in marketing, email content and graphic design. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Flexible and adaptable creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. *Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently within various software programs and strong attention to detail to ensure accurate content is shared. *Strong listening and oral/written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and support a team environment.
Preferred:
*SLATE experience. *Higher Education experience.
