Position Summary
Caribou Thunder is seeking is seeking a motivated Engineer to join our team that possesses system administration, analytical, and problem-solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources. The primary function will be to organize, install, and support government organization's computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. This will also include helping architect, design and analyze network models. It will require participation in decisions about buying future hardware or software to upgrade the organization's infrastructure. This position might be called upon to provide technical support to computer users to help solve users' problems. This position will support activities within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Departments efforts. The position will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Basic Requirements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Bachelor's degree with 3 years of IT experience; Master's degree with 1 years of ITexperience; Associate's degree with 5 years of IT experience; OR a HS Diploma or GEDwith 8 years of IT experience is requiredCandidate must have active/current Top Secret/SCI clearanceMust have server RedHat Enterprise Linux administration experienceSecurity+ CEAbility to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.Higher degree in a STEM-related disciplineExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server & workstation administration in an SCI classified environment.Experience with NAS storage device (preferably NetApp) administration (ONTAP 8.x or higher; CDOT)Solid understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts to include all commonly used RAID-levelsSolid understanding of remediating security vulnerabilities; Experience hardening Linux systems in accordance with RMF and STIGsIdentity Management (Single Sign-On) experienceVMware/Vsphere, Trellix (McAfree) antivirus and ESXi (6.x or higher) configuration and management experienceTenable cloud-based security scanning software.BenefitsBENEFITS
