Demand Planner

Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with products and customers. Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their assigned products, incorporating forecast information gathered from sales, product management, and new product development. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for maintaining a strong partnership with domestic and international vendors through the PO management lifecycle process. The Demand Planner will be expected to lead the Demand Review meetings and establish an unconstrained consensus forecast as well as preparing for and leading the S&OP process.

Responsibilities:Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation.Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data.Develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.Interact with sales, product management, and new product development teams to understand demand forecast drivers.Utilize a collaborative approach to ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.Prepare Reporting Packages for different Business Segments.Lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.Develop, maintain, and evaluate metrics, dashboards, reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Monitor and request supplier expedites according to planning and demand schedules; primary contact for assigned vendors.Review the system-generated MRP and various other reports to generate and track purchase orders based on item demand.Issue and update purchase orders/dates with domestic and/or international vendors.Extract and integrate data from multiple sources using tools such as Microsoft Excel.Utilize Business Intelligence tools for ad hoc analysis and reporting.Analyze data to provide detailed analysis supporting decision-making initiatives.Ability to convert strategic planning into tactical execution.Research, implement, and maintain best practices in demand planning.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis in manufacturing or distribution.Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and JDE Oracle ERP system software.Strong skills in SQL, data warehousing, and forecasting methodologies.Ability to deliver organized presentations to business partners.Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles.Demonstrated ability to define problems, research, collect data, and analyze business information.Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of JDE Business software.Compensation Range:

$80,000 - 90,000
