This person will be exposed to all facets of supply chain, will identify opportunities for improvements and automation, and develop methods for increasing the performance of overall Supply Chain. This person will learn best practices and leadership skills in a global environment.The candidate will work with a mentor and the job responsibilities will include:Identify all possible opportunities to improve the performance of Skyworks Supply ChainGather requirements from various supply chain teams / planners to design and implement improvementsWork closely with IT and the planning world to automate processesTraining and rollout of the solution to all parts of the organizationCommunicateeffectively and proactively, engaging stakeholders across the organization to facilitate process improvements
Qualifications
Must be a student, enrolled in a university making forward progress towards a BS/BA or MS/Ph.D. degree, preferably majoring in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics
Preferred Skills
Excellent in analytical and data management skills (Statistical Analysis).Have familiarity with supply chain concepts and software.Possess intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, if/then)Have good SQL knowledge, able to run advance queries for analyzing data (preferred)Have previous SAP, Kinaxis or other advanced planning tools experience (preferred).Can communicate effectively and efficiently.
#LI-KJ1The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
