The Opportunity
Are you passionate about entrepreneurship and eager to support innovative initiatives? Join our Program Operations Team as a Program Coordinator for Entrepreneurship Programs and play a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial success!
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Program Directors and Managers to ensure seamless and essential coordination and support. This position requires adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination: Collaborate with Program Directors and Managers to establish program timelines, manage application and reporting cycles, and provide logistical support for events such as content sessions and networking events.Application and Interview Process: Coordinate the application process for entrepreneurship programs, including scheduling interviews and supporting the selection process.Participant Support: Manage communication with program participants, ensuring a positive experience throughout the program lifecycle. Support reimbursement processes for program participants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.Meeting Management: Schedule and track meetings for our team of Entrepreneurs in Residence, ensuring efficient use of their time and resources.Facilities and Equipment Oversight: Maintain oversight of physical programmatic spaces, manage audio/visual equipment, and ensure facilities meet program needs.Systems Management: Maintain staff access to program systems, troubleshoot minor issues, and collaborate with IT or relevant stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.Campus Collaboration: Work with various departments across Cornell and external organizations, depending on the scope of the entrepreneurship program.
This is a full-time, 1-year term, endowed position that is based in Ithaca, NY. There is a possibility of term extension based on available funding and performance. This position follows a 3:2 campus-to-home hybrid work schedule. Work hours are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
What We Need
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can handle a wide range of programmatic and administrative tasks, has attention to detail, and can exercise good judgement to resolve complex situations. Additionally, you will:
Hold an Associate's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrate the aptitude to resolve complex issues with sound judgment and minimal supervision.Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
If you possess these experiences and skills this may be the role for you! There are a few other qualifications that we would view as incredibly helpful in this role, to include:
Bachelor's degree.Proven experience in program coordination, event management, or administrative roles within a similar environment.Experience using systems like Airtable, Box, Calendly, Excel, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Qualtrics, Salesforce, Zoom, etc.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Employees typically perform this role remotely 2 days per week and on-campus 3 days per week. The university reserves the right to modify, suspend, revoke or terminate the hybrid work arrangement at any time.This position is based in Ithaca, New York. Employees who work remotely may receive multiple W-2 Forms depending on their work location. The New York Convenience of employer guidelines require New York State individual tax reporting and withholding for this position.
