What we are looking for
SCS is looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Midwest Environmental Services team. This position would be specifically related to industrial compliance consulting, wastewater and air permit related practice focused on aerospace and manufacturing, as well as hazardous and solid waste landfills. As the Senior Project Manager, you will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities from current and new clients, as well as managing projects, developing proposals, project production, and related issues in Kansas and other related markets. You will maintain client relationships and ensure that projects are completed and delivered with the purpose of meeting Clients' business objectives, while working out of our Wichita office.How you can make an impact
A mixture of office and fieldwork expected, with an emphasis on office work.
Some work-related travel will be necessary but usually limited to a single day and short trips.Air permitting and industrial and RCRA compliance work.Document preparation, calculations, modeling, proposals, and business development related to the above-listed work.Ensure that projects are delivered on time, in accordance with the scope and within budget.Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with our business strategy.Lead or have an active role in client prospecting, and developing and executing client plans, business development/marketing plans, and key opportunity plans.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to complete projects and ensure resource availability and allocation.Evaluate and estimate future business and strategic plans to forecast assigned staff workloads and utilization.Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.Manage existing/future relationships with clients and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their business objectives, and to provide solutions that meet clients' expectations and technical needs.Oversee, manage, and develop lower-level staff to grow their knowledge and establish a career path.Assist other Project Managers or staff when additional support or technical expertise is needed.Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science & 10+ years of relevant experience required.Ability to obtain CHMM, CSP or related license within 3 years preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially emission calculations.Database use and XML knowledge.Knowledge of air quality, GHG, NSPS, NESHAPS rules.Knowledge of KDHE and/or other state air (both Title V and NSR) permitting and RCRA policies and procedures.Specific knowledge of MSW Landfill air compliance preferred.General understanding and knowledge of common laboratory analytical procedures for air testing.Air quality modeling such as AERMOD proficiency is a benefit.40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred.Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
