SharePoint Developer

to join our team on a part-time, remote basis for a four-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work across time zones, providing flexibility while playing a key role in transforming our SharePoint environment. Design and develop a centralized SharePoint Hub site with multiple sub-department sites.Data Migration:

Assist with the migration of data, lists, and workflows from a classic SharePoint site to a new modern environment.Document Organization:

Implement strategies to enhance document organization, enabling efficient searching and retrieval of information.Dashboard and Page Creation:

Build and customize sub-department dashboard pages, landing pages, and department templates.Intranet Development:

Create, deploy, and administer a new intranet portal site, ensuring a seamless user experience.Modern SharePoint Apps:

Leverage modern SharePoint apps and connections to improve site efficiency and functionality.UI/UX Design:

Utilize SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create user interfaces with responsive design principles using HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap.Collaboration:

Work closely with the project team to incorporate design features and functionality into the new site.Workflow Development:

Use SharePoint Designer and PowerApps/Flow to create custom workflow forms.Content Management:

Build and manage web components, lists/libraries, site columns, master pages, search navigation, and data permissions.Requirements:Experience:

3-5 years of SharePoint development experience with a focus on SharePoint Online/O365 and SharePoint on-premises (2013/2016).Technical Skills:

Proficient in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, and responsive design. Familiarity with .Net (C#), IIS, and Azure Active Directory is beneficial.Project Management:

Strong project management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.Problem-Solving:

Demonstrates superior problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Adaptability:

Flexible, inventive, and organized in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of SDLC:

Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including unit testing and packaging for deployment.Collaboration Skills:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the project team.Nice to Have:

Prior experience in managing collaborative sites, intranets, or similar business applications. Familiarity with hybrid SharePoint environments is a plus.Note:
