We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant Director of Admissions to join our Admissions Office at our Rindge, New Hampshire campus. In this role, you will leverage your communication skills to connect with prospective students and their families through various channels, including college fairs, in-person meetings, telephone, email, and social media. You will play a key role in enhancing our outreach and enrollment support for multicultural admission candidates. This position involves managing relationships and territory management activities to facilitate student recruitment for our undergraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Connect with prospective students, parents, and counselors to explain college admission policies and programs.

Aid in the ongoing enhancement of the University's outreach efforts for diverse admission candidates.

Conduct on-site and off-site recruitment activities, requiring extensive travel throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey (minimum of 12 weeks per year).

Review and select applications as part of the recruitment process.

Participate in evening and weekend recruitment events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in education recruitment or a related field is desired.

Excellent communication skills, including effective interviewing and advising abilities.

Awareness of and sensitivity to the unique social, cultural, and economic circumstances of students.

Ability to address the concerns of the University’s diverse community.

Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Strong presentation skills for both small and large groups.

Exceptional organizational, customer service, and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate persuasively, both in writing and verbally.

Proficiency in CRM programs, MS Office, and social media platforms is preferred.

Must be able to work nights and weekends, travel extensively, and possess a clean and valid driver’s license.
