Kennedy Jenks is seeking a driven Project Manager in Hawaii. We are looking for someone who is solutions-oriented, has an entrepreneurial mind-set, enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment, and has a client-service perspective. You will have the opportunity to choose your adventure and thrive at KJ.Key Responsibilities:You will provide project management and engineering expertise on water/wastewater infrastructure projects including, but not limited to, water distribution and transmission pipelines, sanitary sewer collection systems, tanks/reservoirs and pump stations, and/or water and wastewater treatment.Overseeing design delivery (plans, specifications, and cost estimates).Supporting and managing services during construction.Coordinating with in-house multi-discipline design teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and architectural) and specialized sub-consultants.Managing all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget and quality.Participate in or lead business development efforts. Engage in direct client interactions. Coordinate with marketing staff to prepare proposals. Lead or participate in interview teams.Collaborate with engineers and scientists at all levels to foster personal and professional growth within the industry. Mentor junior staff members and participate in hiring and recruiting efforts.Some travel within the Hawaiian islands to project sites, for client visits/meetings and to other Kennedy Jenks offices will be necessary.

QualificationsBS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field8+ years experience managing similar water/wastewater projectsStrong writing and communication skills will enable your team to deliver an exceptional work productAbility to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks officesProfessional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE registration within 6 months of hireStrong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industryDemonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clientsExperience supporting business developmentValid driver's license and acceptable driving record
