POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides direction to accomplish the delivery of quality services to patients, visitors, employees, and physicians. Plans, organizes, leads and controls services in accordance with the mission, vision and values of St. Joseph Medical Center and to meet the requirements/regulations of federal, state, and local agencies as to health care delivery. Prepares or approves budgets and/or reports, writes policies/procedures to accomplish services, sets goals and objectives, establishes quality control monitors of services and is responsible for identifying/correcting problems. Has responsibility for staffing functions of hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, assignment and discharging to maintain department services. Participates in activities to assure that customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained; demonstrates effective communication and public relations skills; participates in educational activities for professional growth.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
Five (5) or more years' experience directing public and/or private security, fire, and or safety management programs - special consideration given to individuals who possess experience in all noted areas
Must be able to be licensed as Manager by the Department of Public Safety - Private Security
High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED:
Professional Safety Related Certification preferred
Bachelor of Science Degree in related fields such as Criminal Justice, Fire Protection, Safety Technology preferred
