Assistant Vice President, Early Career - Functions Campus Recruiter

The Early Career Team within Workforce Intelligence and Talent Acquisition is seeking a Campus Recruiter to identify, attract, hire and develop top talent for the Analyst and Associate Programs with Functions at Citi. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for ensuring that the highest caliber of undergraduate and Masters level candidates are attracted to Functions through appropriate on-campus marketing and effective screening of candidates. This role will manage the on-campus efforts for a select group of target schools for both summer and full-time recruiting in addition to managing the respective summer internship programs.
Responsibilities:
Work with school teams to create on-campus strategy at assigned target schools. Coordination of all on-campus and in-house activities for schools including company presentations, office visits, networking events, and interviews
Secure coverage for and attend campus and in-house events
Assist in the development and support of a robust diversity recruiting strategy
Manage relationships with key contacts at career centers
Serve as primary resource for candidates throughout the recruiting process – be able to market the Firm, answer questions, communicate status
Manage summer intern and/or full-time programs including onboarding, training, events, appraisal process and offers
Support program management processes as needed, including rotations, placements, performance management, compensation, and promotion
Ownership of data related to online applicant tracking system, workforce planning, diversity statistics and related reporting as requested; Perform ad hoc administrative duties as needed
Travel domestically 20-25% of the work-time during peak recruiting seasons
Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process
Coach and train new recruits, and assume informal/formal leadership roles within team
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Three to five years of relevant experience (i.e., campus recruiting, event planning or other HR experience)
Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and high level of interest in Recruiting and Program Management
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about financial services and talent development
Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to source talent through social media channels and other networking activities
Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail
Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Effective writing and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, creative problem-solving skills and ability to act independently
Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization
Strong relationship and client management skillset required
Flexibility for travel and to work evening hours as needed during peak seasons
