Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the

Program Manager

for Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration 2 Domain 1 (D3I2-D1) Multiple Award Indefinite Deliver Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract. The PM will lead a contractor team performing research and development services supporting USG efforts to design, develop, demonstrate and integrate products focused on the development of space, high altitude and missile defense capabilities that enable the Warfighter to effectively support the Department of Defense, U.S. Strategic Command, unified combatant commands and other military branches, as well as government agencies.

Successful candidate will report directly to the Systems Engineering & Analysis Program Director of the Defense & Space Engineering Solutions sector.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for the overall contract performance, planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all program functions and respective baselines (business, technical, fiscal, administrative).

Manages the contractor support team across all task orders.

Works with Task Order Managers to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for each Task Order.

Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.

Monitors and reports to Parsons management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.

Serves as the primary point of contact authorized to interface with the Government contracting officer (KO), contracting officer’s representative (COR), and customer agency.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM field, technical field, or business field .

20+ years related work experience.

Previous project management experience on projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

Broad general technical and business background

Understands the complexities associated with R&D projects and systems.

Must be a US Citizen with an active

DoD Top Secret clearance

, with ability to qualify for a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance. Current and active TS/SCI preferred.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.

Familiarity with space, high altitude, and missile defense systems and technologies.

Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Thorough knowledge of current industry R&D practices and emphases.

Advanced knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects.
