Reporting & DashboardsDevelop and maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual dashboards, reports, written recaps and presentations that communicate sales performance, insights and actionable recommendationsPresent data-driven insights to senior management, recommending strategies to drive and enhance business performanceSales & Financial Data AnalysisMonitor and analyze sales performance, including sales forecasting, inventory management, and profitability metricsMonitor sku and category performance and productivity for assortment optimizations and rationalization as well as category white spaceDevelop reporting to assess the impact of pricing strategies, promotions, marketing programs and new product launchesMarket Analysis:Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape within the cosmetics industry.Analyze data on market share, product performance, and brand performance to support strategic planning.Consumer InsightsGather and analyze consumer feedback and preferences to understand customer needs and optimize product offerings.Collaborate with the marketing team to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and potential optimizationsProject ManagementLead and manage projects aimed at improving business processes, increasing operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experienceTrack project progress, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with business goalsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with key accounts, marketing, field sales operations, and finance teams to align business objectives and drive cohesive strategies.Assist in the development of retailer business cases for new products, initiatives, and investmentsRequirements5+ years of experience as a Business or Finance Analyst, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty industryBA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related fieldProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and statistical softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of the cosmetics industry, including retailers, trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapeExperience with SAP, CRM systems, e-commerce analytics, and digital marketing metrics is preferred.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with sense of urgencySelf stater, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
