We have an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team in the Project Services organization, Project Delivery group as the Project Delivery PA Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the continued evolution of our Project Analyst (PA) program. This will include evaluating the PA program, identifying, developing, and implementing suggested enhancements, establishing and driving consistent standards across all areas of the PA program while leading through influence a core team of practitioners towards our goal of a Project Delivery center of excellence. This position will report to the Project Delivery Director under the Project Services organization. Our ideal locations to fill this position are Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, or St. Paul. However, there will be consideration for filling the position in other locations for the most qualified candidate. Detailed Description: Brown and Caldwell has an opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team as our Project Delivery PA Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving consistent standards across all aspects of our PA program. You will drive project analyst performance through the PA leadership team, advising and coaching project analysts with regards to their role. That will include services offerings and levels of services to support project managers in project support activities ensuring delivery support bench strength. The Project Delivery PA Leader is a key leadership role within the Project Services organization's Project Delivery group. In this position, the individual will work closely with the Project Delivery Director to lead through influence, develop, and execute specific goals and objectives aimed at improving Project Management support. Key Responsibilities include: Provide oversight and leadership to a Project Analyst leadership team company-wide including working with the Business Unit PA leadership on managing resources and workflow/work sharing, project assignments, managing performance, providing development opportunities, training and mentoring. Provide leadership and technical direction on PA-specific services, workflows, systems, tools, and related tasks on projects, including specific instructions, recommendations and problem-solving advice. Lead establishing a company-wide hiring, training and onboarding approach of new staff into the PA group working with the PA leadership team. Establish, document and engage in mentoring and/or coaching relationships and plans to develop PA leadership. Develop, collaborate, and propose through partnership with Complex Projects and Programs (CPP) and Project Delivery Directors BC's planned approach to the CPP PA role and responsibilities including hard and soft skills to perform and support these assignments. Establish partnerships with key stakeholder group leaders to collaborate on workflows, role and responsibility intersections with the aim of role clarity and developing operational efficient workflows that benefit BC and the stakeholder groups. Actively participate in the Project Delivery leadership team and lead the PA Leadership team. Provide support to the Director of Project Delivery on all company level activities as identified Establish a culture of teamwork, collaboration, service quality, WorkSmart+ and MSP+ proficiency support and partnership with the Project Delivery and PA leadership teams Engage in projects, as appropriate to remain close to the PA function, as assigned Conduct PA leadership team meetings to include project performance, training, and sharing of best practices. Develop a collaborative PA culture through use of Microsoft Teams workgroups Address PA performance challenges and provide positive feedback for excellent performers, as warranted. Work in cooperation with Finance & Adm nistrative to define RAM/RACI chart for PA and Accounting teams. Be a strong advocate for BC in every decision, with consideration of business acumen and operational efficiency. Be an advocate for career pathways for PAs. Minimum of 10 years project management/coordination, contract administration, financial management or design delivery, required. Experience in the A&E and construction industry preferred. Understanding of PMIS systems and the ability to master the BC WorkSmart+ and MSP+ within the first 90 days. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources. Strong Leadership skills including the ability to lead by influence. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills Solid analytical, problem solving and project management skills Flexibility to work remotely with teams across multiple time zones Expertise and proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, MS Project, Excel, Power Point; Outlook) Previous accounting experience preferred; candidate must be familiar with or be willing to learn accounting practices, systems and tools. Candidate should be comfortable working directly with senior managers and technical staff. Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required. Successful candidate will be proactive and self-motivated. Ability to multi-task and prioritize required. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required. Ability to work under multiple deadline pressures required. Travel required on as-needed basis.
