ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies for substation projects to ensure cost effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.Procurement of transmission like work as needed.Collaborate with engineering and project management to understand requirements and specifications.Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost reliability and performance.Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure reasonable terms.Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.Coordinates logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.Manages procurement budget and cost control measures.Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business preferred

or

specific years of work experience in lieu of degree.8+ years of experience in procurement with at least 2 in substation within the oil and gas industry.Professional certification such as CPM or CSCP preferred.Expert knowledge of substation equipment, materials, and services including transmission line work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid Driver's LicenseWilling to submit to pre-employment background and drug testing.
