Job Description

The purpose of this job is to serve as the lead communications business partner for core areas of the enterprise. This includes advising executive and business area leaders on internal communications and overseeing the development of internal business communications strategies, and leader communications. This position includes managing direct reports and agency partners.

Serve as a lead communications business partner and advisor to executives and senior leaders for respective business areas

Manage direct reports and serve as a lead contact for agency partners

Oversee the development and execution of internal communications plans and written materials to inform and educate team members, including: leader communications and talking points, internal company messaging, presentation materials and company meetings

Partner with business leaders to plan and provide communications support for internal company and business area town hall meetings, including material and message development, communications coaching and meeting facilitation

Partner with strategy realization office and functional business experts to guide, develop and execute internal communications support for the company’s key initiatives

Collaborate with marketing communications team to develop comprehensive and integrated communications campaigns that leverage a variety of internal and external channels and mediums

Oversee the measurement and analysis of the impact of internal communications in collaboration with internal marketing and data analytics team

Manage and prioritize the internal communications calendar for core business areas and collaborate with the communications team to prioritize company-wide communications

Review and edit internal communications and company materials, ensuring they are high quality, accurate and according to style guidelines

Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and virtues; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, English, or similar field required

Minimum five years’ experience in corporate or internal communications

Strong background with executive communication support

Demonstrated previous experience in writing and editing company communications content

Experience working within a large, matrixed organization preferred

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, advanced PowerPoint

Mastery of Associated Press (AP) Style writing

Demonstrated ability to serve as a communication business partner to senior executive leaders

Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results

Ability to manage, develop and prioritize individual contributor work efforts

Ability to assess business and team member performance and provide effective coaching

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to expand relationships

Ability to apply current knowledge and trends of internal communications to evolve communication practices

Self-motivated and results driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Extremely detail oriented

Strong editing skills

Additional Information

Travel required less than 25%

General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time

Compensation:$96,500-$96,500 per year
