Job Description:

Summary:The Corporate Director, Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services will use vision, initiative, and leadership to make an impact on patient care across Ballad Health. This role is responsible for leading Ballad Health's enterprise-wide ambulatory clinical pharmacy services. This individual will collaborate with site leaders and oversee the identification, prioritization, and implementation of ambulatory clinical programs and services across the enterprise. The Corporate Director, Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Programs will lead initiatives that promote patient-centric, evidence-based practice that improves patient outcomes while remaining financially sustainable. This individual will lead system Comprehensive Medication Management programs and ensure compliance with state and national requirements for advanced pharmacy practice. The Corporate Director, Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services will be a highly visible leader who is able to communicate at the highest professional level with physicians, nurses, and other professional staff and who is trusted to ensure appropriate stewardship of resources and medication use related to optimal patient care.

Requirements:Must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with an advanced pharmacy degree (e.g., Pharm.D.) and:• PGY-2 in a Pharmaceutical Specialty, or • PGY-1 with 5-8 years related work experience in pharmacy and 3-5 years supervisory/management experience Minimum of eight (8) years' of progressively responsible experience, with at least three (3) years' experience as a clinical coordinator or manager in a large, complex ambulatory focused facility or health system. At least three (3) years' must be in direct supervision and successful development of front line staff. Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Administration, Master of Public Health, or Master of Science in a health-related discipline preferred. Prior experience as a pharmacy preceptor preferred. Experience with clinical program development and data analytics preferred.INDCORP

Licenses and Certifications:Must hold or be eligible to hold a pharmacy license in the State of Tennessee (+/- Virginia)Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Certification in at least one discipline (e.g., BCPS or BCACP).
