BlueHalo is seeking a Security Analyst with to help our MAS team define SOPs, set monitoring metrics and aid with incident investigations and responses. This opening is on a prime contract working on a newly stood up mission on a growing team.

You're required to have this

5-10 years of experience as a Security AnalystExperience assessing risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and finding flows in computer systems and networksExperience explaining information security needs and threats to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience responding to security alerts, uncovering flaws, and fixing themExperience assessing the impact of an incident, containing the threat, and mitigating damageExperience responding to security incidents and documenting themExperience analyzing security logs and looking for signs of a security incidentKnowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and programming languages, including command-line interfaces for Windows and LinuxUnderstanding of computer security challenges, including data protection, access management, and compliance with regulations and standardsSecurity Certification Required: (at least one)

CompTIA Security+Network+Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH))You could also have this

Experience scripting (e.g., Perl, Python, PowerShell) to assist in analyzing logsExperience configuring security devices (e.g., intrusion detection and protection systems)Experience working on red or blue teams in cybersecurity exercises

Salary Range: $100k - $230k

The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
