Identify and solve service-related issues with effective communication and follow-through.Participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees, ensuring clear communication.Improve the patient experience in the Emergency Department.Coach subordinates, provide feedback, and document job performance.Participate in employee and patient rounding, mentoring future leaders.Enforce and measure compliance with emergency department care standards.Candidate requirements
Education:Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required.
Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency services required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role required.
Licensure:Current RN license or eligibility for licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice, in accordance with state laws and regulations required.
Certifications:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
