Role Summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Field Marketing Specialist who desires the challenge of driving awareness and the excitement of building community in new markets. You will lead the execution of community events and marketing activations in your local market, ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class experience for all. As a Sr. Field Marketing Specialist, you are based at one of Rivian's flagship locations and accountable for designing and implementing Rivian's local marketing and community strategy to achieve brand objectives in your market.

To be successful in this role, you must have a deep curiosity for experiential marketing objectives and apply a customer-first approach to your work. You thrive working within a retail location and are equally at-home out in the field, interfacing with customers and our community in the wild. You are successful in ambiguous and unexpected environments, tackling all challenges with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset. You are results driven and demonstrate an understanding of how each interaction supports the broader customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, strategy implementation and execution of community events and marketing activations at Rivian retail locations and in the surrounding area, focused on driving qualified traffic to the space, increasing demo-drive bookings, growing awareness, and authentically building the Rivian brandResponsible for concepting and executing location specific experiential activations, educational programs, and supporting marketing tactics aimed at creating authentic and genuine connections between the local community, Rivian customers, owners, and fansOwn the identification of local partners and help develop a local network of community leaders, content creators, artists, athletes and non-profits that align with Rivian's vision and the objectives for the locationOversee the onsite and offsite execution of all activations and marketing programs for your locationOwn the process for ensuring all activations and events achieve brand and program objectives and strongly align with Rivian's missionResponsible for building and executing the run-of-show for all eventsEnsure all activations and programs are prepared for, including creating and communicating the workback calendar and run of show and coordinating internally, cross-functionally, and with external partnersMaintain a thorough understanding of all activation content, required equipment, materials, and logistics.Transport participants and gear to and from activity locations, using sound judgment and decision-making to mitigate risks and provide a consistently high level of service and hospitalityKeep a pulse on the Rivian community, regularly surfacing Voice of Customer feedbackIdentify, drive, and track relevant metrics of success, reporting on the impact of marketing tactics and results of local community activationsMaintain a strong knowledge of all retail tools, including POS (Point of Sale), CRM, and configuration resources and actively leverage these platforms to generate leads and enhance customer experienceWhen required, support general retail supervisory duties, including store opening and closing, team coaching, customer experience, product education, demo drives, and demand generation when not actively supporting marketing and eventsPerform day-to-day operational duties, including event production and support, BOH upkeep, food & beverage support, shipping and receiving duties, general space upkeep, cleaning duties, and building or maintaining visual displays as necessarySupport various remote community activations, store openings, remodels, pop-ups, and special events as neededMaintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as Rivian company policy and proceduresTake on additional projects, duties and assignments as required and/or by request from the retail leadershipQualifications

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for SF California Based Applicants:

$107,000 to $133,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary:

Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums. "
