Closing Date:12/06/2024Description:Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a Middle School Principal at South Middle School for the 2025-26 school year. This administrative position will report to the Superintendent. Compensation is competitive in the northwest suburbs and based upon training and experience, but no less than $124,000.00.
Qualifications:The successful applicant will have an understanding of best practices for 21st Century learning. Expectations of applicants are to:possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a General Administrative Endorsement;have completed state required evaluation training;have had successful teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level;demonstrate a high level of effective leadership skills;experience celebrating diversity and working with diverse students and their parents, preferred;possess strong insight into the nature and development of the children to be served.For a complete list of job responsibilities and qualifications, please see the attached job description.
