Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a Jail Diversion Coordinator & Therapist who works with adults with a variety of diagnoses who are in jail or have recently been released. The position is intended to help individuals maintain safely in the community by meeting with clients in the jail setting and at CHD.
CHD WILL PAY UP TO $3500 IN RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND UP TO $2000 TOWARDS FIRST MONTH RENT!

The Requirements:
Master's Degree in a social science field required.*Supervision available to pursue licensure.CADC or willingness to pursue certification.Experience in MRT, forensic community based collaborative treatment desirable.Excellent communication skills.Knowledge of assessment and treatment planning.Computer literacy.Ability to work in a team environment.Willing to perform occasional on call crisis duties.All Master level QMHP's must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings.Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening.*If masters degree has not been obtained, to be considered for this position you must be attending school and have at least 30 credits based on quarter completed, or 20 credits based on semester completedEssential Job Functions:
Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance.Ongoing Program development for jail diversion.Coordinate and field referrals from jail staff, parole and probationWork collaboratively with jail staff and community partnersCollaborate with circuit court for MH referralsAssessment and screening of adults, and adolescents.Provides individual, family and group therapy.Facilitate group and individual therapy in the Union County Jail.Coordinate and complete assessment and treatment planning for inmates in Oregon prisons prior to their release back into Union County.Develop individual treatment plans.Develop format and gather curriculum for specific population groups.Participate on the Crisis Team rotation for back up of night time and day time crisis workers and holidays.Understand agency productivity requirements and comply as appropriate.Pursue investigator or examiner certification unless currently certifiedComply with HIPAA, Code of Federal Regulations and all other applicable laws.
