About the team

This key position, within the Worldpay Security Organization, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and processes to identify, label and protect Worldpay data. Included in these responsibilities is the creation of a security program that supports the standards, guidelines and compliance and safe usage and protection of Worldpay data.

What you'll ownBuilding and overseeing processes and procedures to help govern the usage of data.Partner with key stakeholders to understand data usage and visibility within data workflows and end products/toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective cybersecurity and data protection solutions.Design and deploy solutions to scan for sensitive data, identify access/location/owners, verify data security, and protect sensitive data-at-rest.Participating in establishing and creating necessary policies, standards, and guidelines.Creating and owning business and functional requirements documents, logical and technical solution designs, and implementation plansDemonstrating proactive thought-leadership by actively keeping up to date on industry trends and developments by making recommendations for areas of opportunity and improvement.Preparing and presenting strategic roadmaps and metrics to Executive-level leadership.Where you'll own it

You'll own it in our thriving Cincinnati, OH hub (This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days/week onsite). While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.

What you bring

3 to 5 years' experience with data governance as a practice, including data classification, protection, labeling and identification.In addition to a passion and expertise in data protection, this role requires a change leader who can build relationships, influence stakeholders, communicate clearly, and interact effectively at all levels of the organizationGeneral knowledge of data protection technology capabilities and use cases, including data security platforms (e.g., Varonis), Data Security Posture Management solutions and DLP solutionsSolid understanding of data management principles, processes, and tools, as well as data security and privacy technologies and methods.High-level understanding of global Data Privacy Regulation (i.e. GDPR, CCPA), local data-centric regulations (i.e. SOX, GLBA), and industry best practices (i.e. AI Ethics, PII, DCAM, IAPP and PCI credentials and certifications)Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT staff.Worldpay perks - what we'll bring for you

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
