Position Description:The Director of Admissions and International Programs will report directly to the Principal and will be an integral member of the Leadership Team. This position will be the principal point of integration in all strategic areas of enrollment management. This strategic leader will be responsible for long-term admission and enrollment goals developed through data-driven market analysis, targeted communications and the deliberate stewardship of prospective applicants and families through the application/admission process. The Director will be responsible for the thoughtful recruitment and enrollment strategies that will allow the School to continue to thrive and become even more robust with highly qualified, engaged and receptive students.
Duties and Responsibilities:?Provides leadership in admission, recruitment, and retention and directs the process of attracting and enrolling students at the School;?Formulates an annual Admission and Enrollment Action Plan with goals and objectives;?Understands and informs the faculty and staff about research and trends in admission that ensures that changes and challenges are anticipated, understood, and addressed;?Oversees all on-campus visitation programs, including interviews, tours, OpenHouses and revisit days;?Represents the Admission Office and School at public events, on and off campus;?Serves as a member of the Financial Aid Committee; Works collaboratively with administration, advancement and business office to leverage financial aid and scholarships?Maintains and encourages relationships with feeder schools, counselors, andconsultants;?Seek professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in recruitment and retention of students;?Work with the Director of Communications and Assistant Director of Admissions to develop a yearly marketing strategy;?Oversees the planning and coordination of the department's master calendar with relation to recruitment events, campus visit programs, correspondence and other recruitment activities.?Oversees all aspects of the International Student Program including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation, cultural activities, and liaison to the OEEC for SEVIS purposes;?Works with Leadership team to develop cross cultural connections and opportunities for Northwest Catholic students, both international and domestic;?Makes contact with families who choose to leave Northwest Catholic in order to track trends in attrition and retention?Extends himself/herself beyond the responsibilities of a job description when the need arises and assists the Principal with all other duties as assigned;?Embody values of faith, respect, diverse community, leadership and service and educationof the whole person;?Treat members of the campus community with fairness, dignity, and respect - seeking aspirit of unity and harmony to achieve a common mission.?All other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or the President.
Other Required Qualifications:?Bachelor's Degree and valid driver's license.?Minimum 5 years of progressive admissions/enrollment experience or comparableexperience in education; experience in planning and implementing a comprehensiverecruitment program.?Adequate physical ability to navigate our campus and travel abroad.?Ability to lift 10-20 lbs.?Ability to manage Microsoft Office applications and admissions software and technology?This is a full-time, twelve month, administrative position. The ability to be available forevening events, weekends and travel is required.
