Description

Are you a sales oriented professional looking to help students become better versions of themselves so they can create positive change in the world? University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) is looking for an admissions representative to help drive the student enrollment process from lead generation to students depositing and enrolling, through relationship building with student influencers, college fairs, and high school/college visits and related activities in the assigned recruitment territory. Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment, this position is a leader in funnel development and yielding students for the admission office and will focus on collecting prospective student leads, connecting with applicants while traveling all to drive student application completion and eventual enrollment to the University. The admissions representative is a pivotal team member in representing the University and admission processes for future students.

You will get to:Execute recruitment activities for applicants to drive leads/applications for assigned territories to completed application and deposited students.Drive revenue for UHSP through strategic planning and execution of territory recruitment, pipeline development, admissions entry determination and scholarship packaging working in collaboration with program admissions representatives.Manage territory planning, travel, and communications. Must outline strategic plan to maximize lead development while maintaining expenses within budget. Independently schedule visits to high schools, coordinate pre-visit calls and correspondence, make travel arrangements, conduct visits, and follow up with students, faculty, and staff contacted during visits via phone calls, letters, and email.Independently develop recruitment strategy, including reviewing and analyzing data to determine schools, fairs, and events to attend/visit; and reviewing and analyzing data to effectively recruit students to meet University goals; evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies in specified territories and determine the need for additional efforts and communicating suggestions to leadership; and evaluate all recruitment activity and territory for effectiveness and make recommendations to improve recruitment efficiency and conversion and yield rates.Initiate, plan, and execute event programming and special projects based on a specific territory or recruitment area in an environment that provides a prominent level of autonomy.Represent and promote UHSP to prospective students, families, and high school/community college contact through formal, in-person presentations/meetings/visits, virtual events, phone calls, text messages, emails, etc.Evaluate the prospective student's needs, interests, and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help them make an informed enrollment decision.Cultivate relationships with high school guidance counselors and teachers, pre-career advisors and career counselors at area community and four-year colleges, and other appropriate influencers of prospective students; track and evaluate relationships and contacts to increase pipeline of applicant's inquiries and meet enrollment objectives; and provide reports and updates on status.Represent the University as an active participant in appropriate professional networks, attending college fairs, high school/college visits and generating/collecting accurate prospective student lead information with in assigned territory as needed/directed.Travel as needed/assigned to support efforts.Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree from accredited institution of higher educationAt least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in admissions or sales; and prior experience giving presentations to groups of many sizes. Management of recruitment or sales territory preferred.Passionate about helping others achieve their educational and career goalsExcellent service approach; to include the ability to effectively follow-up on leadsEffective use of social media for work, and proficiency with customer relationship management softwareDesire to achieve individual goals and team goalsAbility to present information persuasively in person, and through voice and email communicationSales orientation creativity, and enthusiasmAbility to travel (40-50%), work nights/weekends, ability to lift and move boxes and materials up to 50 pounds, and have a valid driver's license
