Location: California (FULLY REMOTE)

We are seeking a motivated SBA Lender to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations and offer expert advice on SBA lending opportunities. Your responsibilities will include soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of SBA loans in compliance with our bank’s policies. This role will involve both office-based activities and significant off-site visits to customers. You will manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities for SBA Lender:Build and maintain account relationships by offering financial advice and counsel on SBA loans and related services.Identify and approach potential and existing customers to develop new business opportunities and cross-sell additional bank services.Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of SBA loans, ensuring adherence to all lending policies and procedures.Manage ongoing customer accounts and develop strategies to expand loan portfolios.Stay informed about SBA loan programs, regulations, and industry trends.Qualifications for SBA Lender:
Proven experience in SBA lending within the local market.Demonstrated success in achieving high production goals and meeting lending targets.Strong track record of expanding loans, client relationships, and cross-selling bank products.Familiarity with SBA loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.Excellent underwriting skills and a thorough understanding of SBA loan guidelines.Benefits for SBA Lender:
