Overview
At Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital, we are passionate about patient care! We provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commission's Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 40-bed hospital, we are a free-standing, long-term acute care hospital serving patients in communities throughout the Inland Northwest.
We are seeking a House Supervisor to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:
Current state Registered Nurse license required.Current CPR Certification required.One (1) year recent experience required. Acute care setting preferred.ACLS certification preferred.Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.Demonstrates critical thinking skills.Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.Effective organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.Ability to work closely and professionally with others.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Responsibilities
The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care. Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
