HunaTek is seeking a
Sr Information Assurance Analyst
to support an opportunity with the Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO). This 5-year program provides technical, cyber security, and cloud support, assessment and authorization of applications and infrastructure, enhancement of continuous monitoring, deployment and operation of security tools, incorporating cybersecurity best practices, and supporting cyber mission areas of cloud security, network security monitoring, and communications security (COMSEC) to strengthen the security posture of the OBO enterprise spanning 275 diplomatic facilities across 175 countries.
The
Sr Information Assurance Analyst
will be responsible for the following:
Perform Assessments and Accreditations.Carry out procedures to ensure that all information systems, products, and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Federal Assessments & Authorizations (A&A)Provide sound advice and recommendations to lower risk and improve the overall defensive posture.Manage the inventory, categorization, selecting and monitoring security controls for the information systems in preparation of the Assessment and Authorization process for new and existing systems.Implement NIST guidance related to the Risk Management Framework and supporting Plan of Action and Milestone (POAMs) review.Conduct interviews with application and system developers to document system operations surrounding security controls.The

position requires the following qualifications:
Must possess an active Secret clearance or aboveSeven (7) years of experience related to the responsibilities listed aboveMust possess a bachelor's degree cybersecurity, computer science, informational technology, or related fields;Additional (4) four years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Minimum of eight (8) years of cybersecurity experience.About Us:
