We're hiring: Construction Safety Manager

Cummings has grown this year by adding 300 committed new hires to our family... and the number is growing! We support our services, construction, and manufacturing businesses by hiring electricians, project managers, service account managers, engineers, estimators, and designers, among others. The Safety Manager you will be an integral part of the electrical construction process and is responsible for coordinating construction activities related to electrical, instrumentation and controls. Qualified candidate will support the project team in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC). This position will report to the Health and Safety Director.

Responsibilities

Bring your passion, here's what's needed:BS Occupational Safety & Health required with a combination of either, 12-15 years relevant construction experience, or Certified Safety Professional (as recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals) and at least two 2 years of relevant construction experience.Safety Manager is responsible for overall SSSP execution, including, but not limited to management of Subcontractor Safety Coordinators. Sub-tier management, case & care Management, craft training, safety administration, work coordination, and high-risk activity planning and development.Minimum construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Board of certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) highly preferred.Minimum OSHA 510Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if needed.Not required, but nice to have:

NFPA 70E and LOTOFirst Aid, Narcan, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.CPR and AED Training.Emergency Procedures TrainingMental Health First Aid TrainingQualifications

Compensation $40 - $50 hourly (Compensation will commensurate with experience)
